Technical College Degree (University Degree) or 3-6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience in a courseware development environment.
Very good written and spoken English.
Ability to interpret and organize material into a training process that achieves critical objectives.
Adept with Microsoft PowerPoint and experience with the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability and willingness to work in small and large group environments.
Ability and flexibility to work multiple tasks and projects.
Ability to change in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications include:
Experience in aviation, medical or technical fields
Ability to develop technical training products with minimal direction from technical subject matter experts.
Experience working with technical documentation including detailed schematics, diagrams and component cutaways.
Extensive experience developing, defining and documenting all levels of courseware development requirements and processes for courseware publications, guides, and multimedia courseware products.
Experience with web-based instructional processes and techniques.
Description of duties:
Provides various support functions to Subject Matter Experts/Instructors (loading software, archiving, providing courseware development process guidance, interpretation and application of courseware specifications, moderate software training and assistance, etc.)
Identifies, defines, documents and refines courseware assembly production processes and steps to achieve maximum product quality and production efficiency.
Provides direction to temporary staff for lower-level courseware production steps flowing into the assembly process.
Works with Instructional System Designers to create lesson plans for computer based training.
Develops storyboards and ensures that lesson sequences, content and graphics concepts are aligned with the projects production standards.
Creates initial layout of lessons and works with Instructional System Designers to validate and enhance content and presentation.
Work with graphical experts to produce final lessons that are ready for delivery.
Involved in the development of pilot and maintenance training programs using simulation products (Simfinity).
Contributes to training needs analysis, storyboard conception, media analysis, curriculum structure, all according to best practices.
